Student Scavenger Hunt Event

To make the time at Electric Expo even more fun, students are encouraged to participate in the Electric Expo Scavenger Hunt. Compete with other teams in your schools and other schools in the region for a chance to win some cold hard cash!

How to Participate:

  1. Get your team together (2-4 students per team) Teams must consist of no more than four but no fewer than two.
  2. Name Your Team
  3. Connect to Wi-Fi: "VFCR Guest"
  4. Enter your team by emailing [email protected] with:
    1. Your team name
    2. School
    3. The full names of each of your teammates
  5. Review the scavenger hunt tasks below...and good luck!

Awards:

Each member of the winning team with the most points will receive $75.00, and their school will receive a $500 donation for their corresponding program. 

Scavenger Hunt Tasks

Task 1 (15 possible points)

Take three photos with your team at three different exhibitor booths. Post your photos on Instagram or Facebook using hashtags #EE22 and tag EAP (IG @electricalassociationofphila FB @theelectricalassociationofphiladelphia).

Once posted take a screenshot of your posts and email it with your Team Name in the subject line to [email protected]

Task 4 (10 possible points)

Take two photos of products that you wish you had at your school’s shop. Take a photo of the products and tell us why you would like to have them in your class via email; be sure to use your Team Name in the subject line. Send to [email protected].

Task 2 (10 possible points)

Ask for business cards from two different exhibitors whose products you find interesting. Take a photo of the cards, tell us a little about the products, and email it with your Team Name in the subject line to [email protected].

Task 5 (10 possible points)

Take a photo with your group and one staff member of EAP (There are only three of us!). Post to social media, use hashtag #EE22 and tag EAP IG @electricalassociationofphila FB @theelectricalassociationofphiladelphia).

Once posted take a screenshot of your post and email it with your Team Name in the subject line to [email protected].

Task 7 (20 possible points)

Send EAP an email to [email protected] listing three reasons how your visit to Electric Expo has been beneficial to you, your team, and your school. Perhaps you made connection with a potential future employer, learned something new, or found a product or service you never knew existed? We want to know! Include Team Name in the subject line..

Task 3 (15 possible points)

Take a photo of three exhibitor booths who you think have the best decorations or set up and post to social media and tag or mention the company, and use hashtag #EE22. Once posted take a screenshot of your post and email it with your Team Name in the subject line to [email protected]

Task 6 (20 possible points)

Write a brief social media post about your visit to Electric Expo (we’re sure your friends are wondering what you are up to!). Use hashtag #EE22 and tag EAP (IG @electricalassociationofphila FB @theelectricalassociationofphiladelphia).

Once posted take a screenshot of your post and email it with your Team Name in the subject line to [email protected].
